My name is Lynn Borngrebe and I want to be your representative to the Poudre School Board from District E.

I'm running for this seat because of my passion for education. I have spent many hours working in the classroom as a classified employee and a parent volunteer. I know firsthand the impact one person can make on the success of a child. It is with great pride that I have sought to have these opportunities to serve my family and my community and serving on the School Board feels like the right next step for me.

 I want to preserve and expand the excellence of the Poudre School District. Yes, I think it can be done even in this era of difficult budgets. If we work hard and put students first, we can continue to be successful in educating every student, every day.

2) Some of the most memorable and rewarding moments in my life have come from my experiences volunteering in our schools. I will work hard to advocate for parental involvement in our children's education at all levels.

3) Innovation is one of the ways we can continue to improve our schools in these tough times. Being open to new ideas and “thinking outside the box” can only lead to improvement in student outcomes.
